Nehru suppress facts on Netaji

There was a time when strong doubts persisted if Netaji was still alive or indeed dead in that airplane accident. The British Intelligence must have had pursued the matter further at Kabul and at Tehran for ascertaining the truth about the report of Netaji’s arrival at Moscow and submitted their findings to the GoI. But no report of such follow-up action was placed either before the Shah Nawaz Committee or the Khosla Commission. The Government under Mrs. Gandhi told Khosla Commission that many confidential files of Nehru connected with the reports about Netaji were either missing or destroyed. These files were dealt with by the personal secretary of Pandit Nehru – Mohammad Yunus . These files are still with this man and NOT in the public archives of the GoI. Can anyone believe it?
The British intelligence team informed their Government that Pandit Nehru “received a secret communication from Bose”. This report was confirmed by a witness, Shri Shyamlal Jain of Meerut, while he deposed before Khosla Commission. In 1945-46, Shri Jain was working as a confidential steno of Asaf Ali (remember him? The traitor who handed over a ship-load of weapons to Pakistan, purchased by the GoI!) who was Secretary to the INA Defense Committee with Bhulabhai Desai as its Chairman and Pandit Nehru as one of its prominent members. This confidential steno of the INA Defense Committee, in the course of his deposition, made a shocking revelation about Nehru’s attitude toward Netaji.
Shri Jain told Khosla Commission:

“I solemnly affirm and state on oath that one evening (the date may be Dec. 26 or 27, 1945) I was called by Shri Jawaharlal Nehru on telephone to come to the residence of Shri Asaf Ali with a typewriter as he had a lot of work to be typed by me, which I complied. After getting some papers typed by me, Shri Jawaharlal Nehru drew out a paper from the pocket of his achkan and asked me to make four copies of it for him. The said paper was a hand-written matter and was somewhat difficult to read. Now, what was written on that paper, I am trying to reproduce from my memory:”
“Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose proceeding by aeroplane from Saigon arrived today, August 23, 1945 at Dairen (Manchuria) at 1:30 afternoon. The said plane was a Japanese bomber plane. It was full of gold in the shape of bars, ornaments and jewelry. Netaji carried two attache cases, one in each hand. On alighting from the plane, Netaji took tea with bananas. When Netaji finished tea, he along with four others, out of which one was a Japanese named General Shidei (and others have lapsed from memory), took their seats in a jeep standing nearby. The said jeep proceeded toward Russian territory. After about 3 hours the said jeep returned and informed the pilot of the plane who flew back to Tokyo.”

“I solemnly affirm and state on oath that thereafter Shri Jawaharlal Nehru gave me four papers from his writing pad to make four copies of a letter, which he would dictate to me on typewriter, which I also complied. The contents of the letter, as far as I could remember, were as follows:
“To Mr.Clement Attlee,
Prime Minister of Britain,
10 Downing Street, London.

Dear Mr Attlee,

I understand from most reliable source that Stalin has allowed Subash Chandra Bose, your war criminal, to enter Russian territory. This is clear treachery and betrayal of faith by the Russians as Russia has been an ally of the British-Americans, which she should not have done. Please take care of it and do what you consider proper and fit.

Yours Sincerely,
Jawaharlal Nehru

If it is true, its disappoining. But India was on the edge of independence so why Nehru would be concerned about Bose. And was Mahatama Gandhi aware of such communique to British PM by Nehru?

      Thanx for your comments… :)

Nehru’s main concern was the GREED FOR POWER. Netaji was the most popular leader at that time. And during the INA trial people of INDIA came to know about the heroic deeds of the INA and the dynamic leadership of NETAJI, which brought him more closer to people. So NEHRU realised that if BOSE returns then BOSE will be a BIG obstacle for him to become the PM of the nation, as people will want NETAJI to become the HEAD of the state(which he was more capable than NEHRU). So JN, sardar & many other leaders of that time with the help of the British suppressed many facts about netaji & they did every possible way to close the door for Netaji to return to INDIA.

And about Gandhi, I would say or rather historical evidence says that he knew almost everything. Look at this: A July 1946 letter written by Khurshed Naoroji, Gandhi’s Secretary and granddaughter of Dadabhai Naoroji, to US President’s advisor and journalist Louis Fischer, who had met Gandhi a few days earlier, stated: “If Bose comes with the help of Russia neither Gandhiji nor the Congress will be able to reason with the country (India).” (http://www.nsfoundation.org.uk/Guide%20to%20Netaji%20Mystery.pdf).
Gandhi also stated many times that he believes Subhas is alive and he is in hiding. He Will return at appropriate time. There are many such evidence which reflects the concerns of the leaders of that time and also even today about suppressing facts of NETAJI & his returning back.

    Japan agreed to eliminate Netaji;
In WW-I, Jap was an ally of British. Before WW-II, Jap-US trade war and political war started, this led to actual war between US and Jap. So British became an enemy to Japan by diplomatic manipulation as US – British alliance was there. After WW-II, Jap revived their old connection with British via spies. Jap and British spies were enough linked before WW-II. Jap spies agreed to eliminate Netaji. Motive was to appease the British and purchase security for Jap royal family. Thus, Japan sold Netaji to British and British eliminated him. The false news of air crash was Japan’s fabrication. In any controversial case, liar is to be suspected first.
Netaji’s plan to start second independence war with the help of USSR was known to Japan. There was enough scope for British and Japanese spies to develop a common minimum program against pro-communist agenda of Netaji. Why should Jap imperialism agree to patronize emergence of independent India as a permanent communist ally? Is it not more logical to fulfill British condition and purchase favor? Why Jap royal family was not tried as a war criminal? What is the mystery behind this favor?

Do u have any evidence in support of your words..? If so, please let me know the resource where are u getting this information from.

I will suggest u to please read the following books which will hopefully clear your mind on the issue – one is Prof. Samar Guha’s “Netaji-Dead or Alive” (Fully based on documents & reports) & Anuj Dhar’s “Back From Dead”.

As far as Netaji being pro-communist, please take a note from his autobiography “The Indian Struggle” where Netaji criticized not only Fascism but also Communism. If u are well versed with bengali then I can also suggest u a book by Anir Roy “Netajir Jibonbad”.

And regarding Jap Royal Family’s not tried as a war criminal, please go through the War Crime Tribunal during that time. In jist i can tell u that Japaneese were saved on the advocacy of a Bengali, named Radha Binod Pal. Their punishment was lessened a lot for this man, for which u was highly praised internationally. Till date Japaneese people honor three most important foreign personalities, they are Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Rash Behari Bose & Radha Binod Pal.

      regards

    Respected sir,
Evidence is not the sole component of history. History is based on evidence as well as law of cause and effect. My hypothesis that Japan killed netaji is based on cause-effect analysis.
Why Japan agreed to kill netaji ? Answer : to conduct appeasement of british imperialism .
What is the effect of netaji’s elimination ? Ans : Japan got sevaral favour from british after second world war; some directly and some via US.
Japan and british were originaly allies. Netaji and Azad Hind had faught for right purpose but in the wrong side.
